PSYCHE will contribute to the scientific development of ICT as applied to health domains and as mentioned above this project is one of the first focussed on the field of mood disorders with the perspective of further development for other mental disorders.

Concerning the research on the mental disorders the original multiparameters approach of PSYCHE may stimulate the development of new perspectives into the nosography of mood disorders by offering new subtyping. Perspectives of contribution to the understanding of the etiopathogeny are conceivable. PSYCHE could also contribute to the development of new therapeutic concept integrating biological, behavioral, cognitive emotional and social components. It has to be stressed that during and beyond this project PSYCHE is an iterative project: step by step, inclusion of new parameters, new modules will generate new data and open new leads.
